Minimum Qualifications
- Must hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii.
- Recent clinical experience, education, or specialty skills specific to geriatrics.
- Demonstrate understanding that state and Federal rules and regulations govern the practices within the facility.

This position is very active and requires:

- Communicates monthly calendar of recreational services to residents and staff.

Job Duties
- Assist in food preparation and serving and maintain clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas under the supervision of the Dietary Services Manager or Cook.

- Removes soiled linens and places in designated laundry areas.
- Prepares tables for next meal.
- Removes trash and keeps dining room clean, dry and free of safety hazards.
- Prepares for next meal: cleans tables, wipes out chairs, fills condiment containers, mops, sweeps, cleans coffee maker, juice machine, etc.
- Follows opening and closing assignments.
Working Conditions
- Works in dining room and kitchen.
- Subject to frequent interruptions.
- Works beyond normal working hours, on weekends/holidays, and in other positions temporarily as necessary.
- Subject to falls, burns from equipment, odors, etc. throughout the working day.
- Subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents and families.
- Possible exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including exposure to AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses.
